Cristian Soldi
Professor Soldi holds an undergraduate degree in Chemistry from the Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (2005) and earned his doctoral degree in Organic Chemistry from the same university. During his master’s and doctoral studies, he was under the supervision of Professor Dr. Moacir Geraldo Pizzolatti (Department of Chemistry – UFSC), and during his doctoral period, he was co-supervised by Professor Dr. Carlos Roque Duarte Correia (Institute of Chemistry – UNICAMP). Following his doctoral studies, he served as a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Chemistry at the University of California – Davis, working under the supervision of Professor Dr. Jared Shaw. His expertise lies in the field of organic chemistry, with a focus on natural products chemistry. His work primarily involves the isolation, characterization, and synthesis of natural products. Currently, he holds the position of professor at the Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina – Curitibanos Campus.
