João Batista Tolentino Júnior
Professor Tolentino Júnior earned an undergraduate degree in Agriculture from the Universidade Estadual de Maringá in 2006. He went on to obtain a master’s degree in Agriculture with a specialization in Plant Production from the same university in 2008. In 2012, he completed his doctoral degree in Sciences with a focus on Irrigation and Drainage from the Universidade de São Paulo. Currently, he holds the position of professor at the Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina – Curitibanos Campus. In this university, he instructs students in courses such as “Introduction to Agriculture”, “Irrigation and Drainage”, and “Hydraulics”. He actively participates in the Conservation Agriculture research group, where his research contributions span various areas, including soil-plant-atmosphere relationships, integrated pest and disease management, conservation management of natural resources, and land use suitability.
