Leosane Cristina Bosco
Professor Bosco completed her undergraduate degree in Agriculture in 2005 and her Master’s degree in Agriculture in 2008, both from the Universidade Federal de Santa Maria. She furthered her academic journey by earning a doctoral degree in Plant Science/Agrometeorology from the Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul in 2011. Currently, she serves as a professor specializing in Agrometeorology and Hydrology at the Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina. She actively contributes to teaching in the Rural Sciences, Agriculture, and Forest Engineering undergraduate programs. Her research and outreach efforts are focused on Agriculture, with a primary goal of developing agricultural strategies that promote the conservation of production systems. She plays a significant role in the Conservation Agriculture research group, where she is engaged in various research lines, including soil-plant-atmosphere relationships, integrated pest and disease management, and land use suitability.
