Professor Lencina holds an undergraduate degree in Forest Engineering, which she earned in 2010. She then pursued further academic achievements, completing her master’s degree in 2013 and her doctoral degree in 2016, both in Forest Engineering with a focus on Forestry, at the Universidade Federal de Santa Maria. In 2019, she successfully concluded her postdoctoral research in Plant Breeding, also at the Universidade Federal de Santa Maria. Her expertise lies within the field of Forestry, with a particular emphasis on topics such as vegetative propagation, plant biotechnology, and forestry improvement. She is actively involved in teaching and research in these areas. Currently, she holds the position of a professor in the Department of Agriculture, Biodiversity, and Forests at the Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina.
