Professor Marcon holds a Ph.D. in Forest Engineering from the Federal University of Paraná, as well as a Master’s and a Bachelor’s degree in Forest Engineering from the Santa Catarina State University. She is currently an Assistant Professor at the Federal University of Santa Catarina, Curitibanos Campus. Her research focuses on Forest Resources and Forest Engineering, with an emphasis on Nature Conservation and Ecology. Her main areas of expertise include forest ecosystem ecology, environmental impacts, landscape ecology, phytogeography, dendrochronology and dendroclimatology, and vegetation description and analysis.
